How to subscribe and unsubscribe

This list uses an automated mailing system called ezmlm. It handles administrative requests automatically. Please don't send them to the list address! Instead, send your message to the correct command address.
Similar addresses exist for the digest list (which means that instead of getting each message individually in your In-Box, you get fewer posts each day, each containing a number of posts grouped according to subject header)

Subscribing

To subscribe to the list, send a message to:
stbedes-subscribe@list.via-caritas.org
To subscribe to the digset, send a message to:
stbedes-digest-subscribe@list.via-caritas.org

To subscribe to the Allow list (ie not receiving any mail but able to send to the list, (eg from work), send a message to:
stbedes-Allow-subscribe@list.via-caritas.org

Unsubscribing:

To remove your address from the list, send a message to:
stbedes-unsubscribe@list.via-caritas.org
To remove your address from the digest, send a message to:
stbedes-digest-unsubscribe@list.via-caritas.org

To unsubscribe from the Allow list, send a message to:
stbedes-Allow-unsubscribe@list.via-caritas.org

Sending Messages

To send messages to the list, send to:
stbedes@list.via-caritas.org

Send mail to the following for info and FAQ for this list:

Subscribing & Unsubscribing an Alternate Address
You can start a subscription for an alternate address, for example "john@host.domain", just add a hyphen and your address (with '=' instead of '@') after the command word:
stbedes-subscribe-john=host.domain@list.via-caritas.org
To stop subscription for this address, mail:
stbedes-unsubscribe-john=host.domain@list.via-caritas.org
In both cases, ezmlm will send a confirmation message to that address. When you receive it, simply reply to it to complete your subscription.

When All Else Fails

If despite following these instructions, you do not get the desired results, please contact the list owner at stbedes-owner@list.via-caritas.org. Please be patient - it may take a little time for the list owner to respond.
