The vestry shall be comprised of seven (7) elected members with voice and vote and two (2) Ex-Officio members with voice but no vote The Vestry members are: Carol Marsh (USA); Gary Gooch (At Large); Gaynor McCartney (World); Glenn Hammett (At Large); Jeffry Barnes (At Large); Sally Mullock (UK); Sheila Ketler (Canada). Dragon Rep: Charles Smith Clerk: Jeffry Barnes Elected members : There shall be one member from each of the regions represented on the list: the US, Canada, Europe and the remainder of the world and three (3) Members at Large. Ex-Officio Members: A representitive of Dragon Networks, appointed by them, shall act as an advisor to the Vestry list. A Clerk may be appointed by the Vestry. Elections for vestry shall run from 00:01 GMT on the Sunday of Christ the King to 00:01 GMT of Advent I. The vestry serves a term of one year beginning on Advent I. Anyone may nominate themselves or another. Nominated persons must consent to stand election. All members may vote for all positions. Eligibility for nomination and voting shall be determined to be those subscribed to the list at the time that nominations are declared to be open.The person receiving the most votes in each region will be elected. The Regional Representatives are elected on alternate years to the At Large members.Voting shall be done by posting a ballot to the Tellers Mailbox. Tellers shall confirm the receipt of a ballot within 24 hours. Vestry members are expected to actively read the main list and the vestry list. Vestry members should resign their position if they expect to be away from email for one month or longer. The Vestry shall elect a replacement to fill the unexpired term of a vacancy after requesting nominations from the list. The vestry must fill a regional vacancy with someone from that region.The vestry shall elect a clerk who shall record nominations, count votes and speak for the vestry to the entire list. The clerk may be removed by a majority vote of the vestry. The clerk shall post the FAQ to the list monthly.

Responsibilities
of the Vestry |

The
vestry shall be responsible for the running of annual elections. They
shall discuss complaints related to the running of the list. They may
unsubscribe or privately censure a member. They may declare a subject
matter off-topic. They shall maintain a FAQ. The vestry may make such
rules for itself as necessary to fulfill these responsibilities. |

Amendment |
|
The
Charter may be amended by a two-thirds vote of the members. |
